This week’s public announcement of Abu Dhabi Ranches marks a significant step forward for our ZPTM Abu Dhabi development.
The announced first phase of the new 10 million sqm sustainable city, with an investment put at AED 2 billion, is being advanced through the strategic collaboration between BILDCO and WUJOD Real Estate Development. This confirms strong momentum behind Abu Dhabi Ranches as one of Abu Dhabi’s most ambitious new sustainable urban destinations.
The project brings together low-density residential living, sustainability, wellness, open space, innovation and long-term community value - all key pillars in the broader Abu Dhabi Ranches vision. With extensive green areas, forestation, parks, water features and natural open spaces, the development is designed to create a calmer, healthier and more sustainable way of living in Abu Dhabi.
The commitment from BILDCO, led by CEO Shamsa Al Fahim, together with WUJOD Real Estate Development, led by CEO Issa Ataya, is an important signal that the wider master development is now entering a more active and visible phase. Their shared focus on creating a future-facing, sustainable community gives the overall development a strong platform for the next stages.
As a key part of the original Abu Dhabi Ranches masterplan, ZPTM is a 4.3m sqm development positioned as the sports, education, wellness, lifestyle and technology anchor within the wider development. The progress now being made around Abu Dhabi Ranches is therefore also a major step forward for ZPTM, strengthening the foundation for the project’s next phase.
